  1. What you are going through is totally normal!! I'm 2 weeks post op today so its still fresh in my mind. Just 2 days ago I was able to sleep on my side again and I still have a little bit of incisional pain. The weird sensation in your chest is from the swelling in your stomach. Take it easy and give the fluids at leas a minute to get through the opening before sipping again. This will go away as the swelling in your stomach subsides. I'm much better now at getting fluids in, although I have to remember to go slow. Congratulations by the way!!

  2. I usually get the Sobe at Kroger. I've seen it other grocery stores and even gas stations.

As far as my schedule, I eat when I'm hungry but I try to not let myself get hungry if that makes sense. I usually have a protien shake in the morning, a mid morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, dinner and usually a snack around 8pm. So, I eat 6 small meals a day. I eat protien at every meal and snack and if I don't eat a little protien around 8pm then I'm up in the night with hunger pangs. I eat mostly eggs, cheese, Beans and meat or fish. fruit or applesauce with no sugar added helps me get my calories in if I need them and also gives me a little Fiber.< /p>

    Good ideas. Thanks for replying!

  3. Hey everyone

I think I'm lactose intolerant. I've been drinking nectar Protein, EAS, and Myoplex for about a month now (2 weeks before surgery and now 2 weeks after). I had no issues and all of a sudden, i'm throwing up and running to the bathroom. I knew this may happen but other than Unjury, how can i get in my protein? I don't want to go back to broth only. I'm doing so well.

    Please help!

Also, I've done a search but I didn't see much other than Unjury.

  5. Hello everyone! It's nice to have found this forum!

Congrats to all the new and future sleevers.

I had my sleeve 3-6-12. I'm doing well just finding it hard to get in my Water and Protein requirements

My scars are starting to keloid. I knew this may happen as I'm prone to keloids but is there anything you ladies could recommend that will help reduce the scarring? I was told to use cocoa butter, mederma, and massage it to try and smooth it down.
