  5. LMD, My doc hasn't cleared me for jogging or high impact exercising yet. I would like to start back with Yoga, but I don't know if the stretching would be bad for my stomach. Any thoughts?
  6. This surgery is the best thing that could have happened to me. Yea, I'm gonna miss some foods, but what could be better than being healthy??

    Week 2 Update

Overall, I feel good. I have a lot of energy, I'm healing well, and I'm still feeling restriction. Scars I've been using Scarguard MD, but it's only been a few days so I can't tell you if it works. However the reviews have been good so we will see how it goes Food My doc advanced me to mushies. I've pretty much been eating exactly how I was eating before surgery but in smaller portions sans carbs, breads, veggies, fruits. I chew until liquid like I'm supposed to and I haven't had any trouble. My tummy tells me when I've eaten too much or when I've eaten something she doesn't like anymore. The biggest change has been lactose intolerance. I switched to GNC Lean Shakes and I haven't had a problem since. The biggest obstacle has been head hunger. I'm physically full but mentally I'm starving Weight loss I've hit the infamous stall. I've been stuck at 246 for a week now. I was mentally prepared but it doesn't make it any easier. Taking it a day at a time and hoping it will break soon. I've been super busy with school. I'm in my last semester of nursing schoola and we have a big comprehensive test this week. Wish me luck!

    Surgery Wasnt By Choice!

I'm so happy you had this resolved! It sounds like a frightening experience. also, I think what Wheetsin was trying to convey, is that this is like a medical mystery and very intriguing for those of us who are medically inclined. I had some of the same questions and I hope it doesn't come off the wrong way by us asking. It's just an amazing story! Did the doctor's ever give you the name of the condition? That way I can go research it and not pick your brain over the details
  18. IVe been pushing Water, I take my Prilosec, I drink broth like its water but I'm so hungry right now! What am I doing wrong?? Sent from my iPhone using VST

    March Roll Call!

Congratulations!! Wishing you a speedy recovery! Hey ChaCha! I spent my day cleaning the house top to bottom, repacking our bags, rechecking the hotel confirmation, making sure the cabinets were stocked, and pretty much anything I could think of! Good luck tomorrow! I'm so excited for you!!
  23. Hey everyone I think I'm lactose intolerant. I've been drinking nectar Protein, EAS, and Myoplex for about a month now (2 weeks before surgery and now 2 weeks after). I had no issues and all of a sudden, i'm throwing up and running to the bathroom. I knew this may happen but other than unjury, how can i get in my protein? I don't want to go back to broth only. I'm doing so well. Please help! Also, I've done a search but I didn't see much other than Unjury.
