    Me too!!!! I'm in my 6th week, and at about 5 weeks I stared experiencing the same thing.....strange. I keep some beef jerky handy....It's nice and salty, and just a little bit seems to help me to be satisfied, plus it helps with my protiens. Also, I did start chewing gum last week (had not chewed any since surgery). When the head hunger gets too much, I grab a stick of gum and nosh on that for about 15 minutes, it does seem to help. For goodness sake, do not swallow it...

    Thanks Donna, most helpful. I'll watch for the recepies. The only thing my DR suggested is to lower the protiens to 70g. Told me to stick with cals ect as they are.....whimper....I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for the great support.... *snif*

    Stall??'s

    I'm soooo frustrated....I've having a stall, week four AND week 5...nothing lost. People say to up the water, others say to up the cals...I'm so confused. In order to up my cals, i had to up my fats from 5-10g to 10-20g in order to get my 600 cals in per day. And i'm only "just" making the 600cals. I feel like I'm eating all the time...and I'm bloated, and upset. Protien is at 80-90 and carbs at 20-30...7 glasses of water each day... Stop the ride...i wanna get off!!

    Thanks so much Donna and Emilygrace. Donna, I can barely make 600 cals a day....and feel like I'm eating all the time....how can I up my cals without blowing my fats and carbs out of the water? Emilygrace, I'm going to make upping my liquids a priority this week, thanks. "sniff, sniff".

    Crying!!! I'ts been week 4 AND week 5, with no weight loss!!! None, nadda, zip...nothing. I've not been cheating. Week 4 was expected. I had not been able to eat enough calories, so I upped my fats to between 10-20g (they were between 5-10g) which allowed me to up my calories. Each day this past week I managed to "just" make my 600 calories. I thought this was what I needed to do to "jump start" my body...carbs are at between 20-30g and protien is between 80-90g. I've been making all my goals this week...all of them! What the heck is going on? I'm feel bloated....and am getting about 7 glasses of Water in a day....no less, no more. HELP please!!!

    Iamsunshine, I'm right with you on your position. These are exactly the reasons why I decided on VSG. My kids, and the opportunity to play together, as a family. In only 4 weeks out and I've increased my activities with my family to triple what they were before, and I must say I'm having a ball.....

    One month out today

    Way to go!! I am at 1 month now, and 2 days....and I feel the same way you do Kathy...lovin my sleeve. I did not loose last week, (week 4), but I have increased my fat with hopes it will allow me to get my 600 calories in.... You're doing great...keep it up!

    Hi Cheri, I've upped my fat intake to 10-20 hoping this will allow me to get more calories in....scale DID NOT move this week, so I need to change things up. Hope you're well... P.S. What kind of Vitamins and supplements are you taking now that we're 30 days out?

    He's easily an 11 in my books. I have recommended that my brother see him, and if I've suggested this to my family, you must know that I trust Dr. A and his ENTIRE SUPPORT TEAM with my life, and the life of my family member. He is just wonderful, and his team knows what they're doing. For me, it was a fantastic experience... Best of luck!

    Hi Cheri, I'm thinking it's a good move to put away the scale, I hear increasing your calories if you're stalled. I've heard that's the right move, as well as increase in fluids. I'm sure the scale will start moving again. Oh, and I think you're getting lots of excersise chasing around your twins, don't kid yourself!! Hugs, Laura
