Rant: Nothing In My Closet Fits!

I had the same problem.. I go to ross and tj maxx and get a couple of things once in a while (I don't want to spend a lot of money on clothes until i stabilize in weight). Also, remove the clothes that don't fit!!! that will help a lot in figuring out what key items you need.
  2. Yesterday I had smartipo (a form of laser lipo) done to my inner/outer thighs and knees. I did extensive research on it before i had it done and read people's testimonials. people describe the pain as if you have had an intense work out. It is suppose to be so painless that it is done under local anesthesia. My plastic surgeon does it under general. Ladies and gentlemen, it HURT!! at least the first 2 days does. maybe it's because of the extent of the job i had done that make it hurt a lot. It is suppose to hurt less than regular liposuction, but i can't imagine something hurting more than that. I am not trying to scare any body, but i wish i was better prepared mentally for the pain. I can't say if i regret doing it, but i don't believe i will do it again but who knows. I will keep you guys posted on my progress.
  3. i agree with sleeve4me.. you are not a giant, you are a supermodel and the world is your runway.. strut it girl
  4. I am so happy for you.. reading your post, i was grinning because i know exactly how you are feeling. People have made similar comments to me, saying i'm much friendlier now (i thought i was always friendly, lol)

    I Hate Eating....

I know how you feel, i used to dread eating, I did it because i was hungry and had to but it was painful and a chore just like you said.. it gets better I promise. I am 8 months out and i can eat without hurting and actually take pleasure in eating (don't know if that's a good thing, lol).. every day it will get better
  6. That was a great feeling.. I kept crossing my legs and then a chiropractor told me "you know you shouldn't do that" I was what I've waited a long time to be able to do that and now that i can, you telling me not to?, lol

    Size 10 Jeans! What?

Congrats on your weight loss.. I stalled at 170 for 2 months and then dropped to 168 and have been there for almost a month but I am buy smaller clothes. I am wearing a 12 in bottoms, the first i realized i could do that, I went to express and try on several different pants just to make sure (lol). Now I'm able to wear some 10 eventhough my weight hasn't really changed and for dresses i'm buying size 8 (a little tight but i have hope:) keep up the good work
  8. I went salsa dancing saturday night and two great things happend to me: 1. I didn't stand in a corner, self concious about my body.. and I guess guys responded to that self confidence cause I got asked to dance all night long and I said yes to almost every dance requests (after warning them i didn't know the dance steps, lol) 2. I had the energy to dance for over 3 hours without my legs cramping up and feeling tired, when the club was closing down, I still wanted to keep on dancing

    I'll show you mine... (LBD's)

I'm a size 10/12, I will never be a size 4 lol.. that dress is actually a size 14 but it is stretchy.. I'm 168 currently my goal weight was 154 but i don't know anymore if i should stress about it.
  10. thanks for the advice.. I know i shouldn't be so obsessed on a number but on how I look overall. I guess since i never really learn how to maintain my weight loss, I feel like I will start gaining again.. I will focus on working out and eating as healthy as possible and see what happen

    8 Months Out

Congrats on your awesome weight loss! we were sleeve around the same time but i havent reach goal yet:) .. you really look good.. best of luck to you
  13. Since this weight loss journey began, I had a goal of what size/weight i wanted to be. My goal is 154 and to wear a size 10. All along this journey people kept telling me not to lose anymore weight (advice given unsolicitated) and calling me skinny , so i feel I can't trust their opinions.. I still identify myself as a big girl eventhough logically I know I'm not anymore. I'm wearing a size 12 but they are fitting a little loose and I can wear some 10.. my weight have remained basically unchange for 3 months now, with a recent 2 lbs loss (I am now 168) honestly my eating habits have not been great. This weekend, I took a picture of me wearing a dress and I was like oh my god I am small but remember I don't feel small.. My issue is, should I still pursue the goal weight or say enough is enough but i know people tend to gain some weight back (which I am petrified of). The last time I had lost so much weight, I regained it back plus extra before i learn how to maintain it. My emotions are up and down, one minute I'm feeling good about the weight loss, next I feel fat (because i still have the bad habits that landed me in the fatland) and then fear of regain.
  14. It has been 8 months from my surgery.. june 11 and have lost a total of 82 lbs. I currently weigh 168 and have 14 more pounds to reach my goal of 154
  15. how much food i would be throwing away and no matter how hungry i am, food doesn't mentally satisfy me.. I see a food that look appetizing, eat a few bites, gets full and it was just okay. I love my sleeve so i have no regrets.
