picture before surgery
Thank you all for the lovely and encouraging comments, it so difficult for people in the outside world to understand my feelings and emotions, so what you guys say means the world to me! I'm still struggling to decide what my weight goal should be, I don't want to lose too much, but my nut said my body will stop where it feels comfortable, so I guess I'll go with that!

Do you really need to remember to eat?
I do get hungry when I haven't eaten for a few hours, but nothing like the hunger I used to experience, like BBJ said earlier. I get full of course after a few bites of whatever or even a cup of coffee, and I can easily not eat even if i am hungry and the hunger seems to go away, it's great

Four months out and reality has kicked in
Estrellita I understand we are all different and nothing is as esay as it seems. I never thought this surgery will be the solution to all my issues with food, and it hasn't been. I'm working hard though, trying to makke the right choices, sometimes I don't though I hope to get to goal weight in 3 or 4 more months, but i know I have to work hard to get there. One piece of advice: Ask the waiter to take your plate from the table (or take it to the sink if your at home) when you're full because or else you will continue grazing as you say, I do that now, especially if we're sitting at the table having a converstion because I know that if I don't I'll just keep picking on my food half an hour later I'll manage to eat more!

You're looking great!!- Clothing while losing
Well I can still wear tops I was wearing a couple of weeks before and after op, I realised I was wearing clothes that were way to tight- what will I do in the hospital?
I was in hospital for 3 days, took a book magazines, but to be honest didn't feel like doing much. Not because of the pain or anything, but because the weeks before I had been on such a high that I was really tired! So when I wasnt walking around or sipping I would just sleep or watch some tv! Good luck- Buyers remorse?
Vicki I hope you're feeling better by now, it's incredible how after surgery are hormones go mad, and like you say all the feelings of guilt, not being able to have done it on our own. You will feel so much better each day, and you will end up loving your sleeve, regardless of the pain, the guilt, I'm loving it and so will you - Four months out and reality has kicked in
