  1. Hi TCL, I am going through exactly what you are describing! Whenever I eat anything however small I get the same feeling and also like a really tight feeling across my chest/throat area like I have really really over indulged but this happens after a couple of mouthfuls of liquid/puree. I had my op on 8th December but have not been taking the ppi, I forgot about them to be honest!! After reading many threads I think this is why I am getting the problems, I have tracked down the drugs and as from today I am going to take them, I will keep you updated and let you know if this helps. Not sure if you are the same but I am also getting really bad hunger pangs even after this happens, it is very frustrating! I was told because the hormone that makes you hungry resides in the part of the stomach removed I wouldn't feel hungry again, this was a BIG selling point for me but so far it's not the case! Jx
