  1. I know this was posted awhile ago, but I thought i'd answer The question for anyone else looking for answers. I had mncare last april and health partners as the provider. it was indeed covered. I researched lapband for a year and have decided to go through with it. I now have medical assistance And still health partners as the provider and it is still covered. I have to have 5 phone consults with health partners and have The physch eval. If you have health partners call them and discuss The process with them, the girl i spoke to today was very nice and helpful
