  1. Missy I was just about to say that. Go through his paperwork and check that out. If he can't remove you then call him on it.
  2. No pain meds? Morphine was my best friend in the hospital. I think they all thought I was an addict I asked for it so much.
  3. Just make sure that during that special intense moment you are not pushing up really hard against the headboard with your hand. Not that I know or anything, I just bet it would really hurt your port incision. Especially 5 days after surgery.
  4. I had to fix my ticker since I had the wrong starting weight down. When I went to my Dr. today my nurse gave me the actual wieght. And I lost a few more pounds so 18 total for me!
  5. Susannah I am also having port incision pain. And it did not help when I practically bent myself sideways to reach something on the bottom rack at the grocery store. I had almost forgotten I had surgery until the pain of that one hit me.
  6. Good luck everyone this week!!!!!!!
  7. I am swallowing my medicine in one swig easy peasy and I just had my surgery 5 days ago.
  8. Zannie I was so scared when I went in for my procedure. As I was lying in preop I was getting so sick to my stomach and wanting to change my mind. I ended up having to take a nap to pass time before I freaked out too much. They took me into the OR and said to relax, transfereed me onto the bed and that was the last thing I remembered. The next thing I knew I woke up in PACU. I guess the first thing I said when I came to was "wow I am f*cking alive" so obviously that was on my mind. Try not to worry too much, you will do just fine.
  9. I dont want to be tempted to eat it. Tahts how I got this way in the first place. Actually this thing feels so good on my neck right now.
  10. Is the rice supposed to smell cooked? My this is a heavenly heat pack. Not only do I want to sit on it but I want to eat it too.
  11. OH the gas is back folk the gas is back. My wallet has been empty for at least a week now. I did however just fill a pillowcase with some white and borwn rice to heat up lol.
  12. Ohhh the pain of laughing. LOL
  13. Krysia, I swear you are my rice toting pillowcase hero right now. *runs to get some rice*
  14. LOL. Mine are already sore so stop making me laugh!
  15. I have been pretty comfy on the couch. Still cant sleep more than 3 hours at a time though.
  16. Marisa we are entitled to b*tch about things we just got some major abdominal surgery darnit!
  17. Travelgirl I am so jealous lol. It was the worst pain ever. And I could not push anymore for fear of busting open my incisions.
  18. Mine comes and goes. Usually when I change positions from standing to sitting or vise versa.
  19. So the big bubble in the chest is normal lol
  20. I have found mixing my protien powder with a spoon instead or shaking or blending it makes it less airy and it does not bubble so much inside me. Oh and poo alert--I went lol. I feel much better now
  21. My nurse said so caffiene for about three months after banding due to its dehydrating factor.
  22. I personally think queefs are funny. Everytime it happens my husband and laugh our butt off.
  23. Um is anyone else having constipation problems? I finally had to go today for the first time in like a week and I cannot get anything out. Straining too much is killing me and hurting my incisions. I just took some Senna (which is foul foul foul when crushed up btw) so hopefully that will help. Anyone else having to deal with this?
  24. I think I would raither have air bubble sounds than the sounds of my fat rolls smacking each each other. If it really does bother you that much I am sure you could get some plastic surgery to remove the excess skin.
