Where Are My April 2012 Sleevers?

Personally im completely ready mentally, emotionally & physically. i justt need to start buying all of the post-surgery ingredients to ease my transition into the next stage from liquid, to semi-liquids then finally solids. don't worry though, katie, you have to stay positive all the way through. no negative thoughts. the surgery will go fine! its okay to feel scared, its only natural after all. Youre hardest critic will always be yourself, so your gonna have to push yourself harder than the surgeons pushing you. because at the end of the day your making this beautiful healthy lifestyle change for your well-being. food addiction is the reason why we are all here in the first place, so dont stress it because you already made a huge decision to break that addiction and free yourself from its cause and effects gluck on w/ your surgery no the biggest obstacle for you was deciding to go through with the surgery. Once you made that commitment you broke all mental barriers preventing you from achieving it. like they always say the first step is always the harddest gluck on w/ your surgery no youre not being lazy. there is NOTHING wrong with receiving assistance and that is exactly what the sleeve is. people may say youre cheating and what not, but look at this way: when a student is failing a class they look for a tutor to assist them and there is nothing wrong with that, people actually encourage this behavior. Well he sleeve is the SAME exact thing. Dont doubt yourself, ever. stay focus and do whats best for YOU gluck on w/ your surgery That's one of the biggest misconception about getting sleeved, people start to believe that they will no longer enjoy the food that they love, which is NOT true. You will be able to enjoy they foods but they will be in moderation. instead of focusing so much on eating the food, after the surgery you will just be happy tasting it. which is a great thing because you will slowly be able to break those bad eating habits and form newer more solidified ones that will make this journey an exciting one. Dont worry hunger pains will subside once you start to feel the restriction. at the end of the day TRUST THE SLEEVE, it will not steer you wrong gluck on w/ your surgery We are in the same boat. I, too, am anxious about getting it done and beginning my journey to a better life. One thing i can tell you though is that NOONE before the sleeved ENJOYED exercising lol. Well i cant say noone but many of us never liked it, but when you start to notice your results you will begin to enjoy and even become addicted to it in the process. Once you start exercising regularly missing a day or two will give you fitness withdrawal lol gluck on w/ your surgery
  4. Yes ladies if you had big boobs before you will surely lose a lot of it. Because we weight loss is evenly distributed throughout the body. I know I'm a man and all but I kno several women who also have double and triple d's that ended up in b and c cups.

Same here. I was nervous also but the doctor knocked me out with a few meds and when I awoke it felt like nothing happened. Easiest test in the world. Btw I'm referring to the upper Endo
  6. Congrats to you for taking the big step in your life! I'm glad that recovery is treating you so well. I wish you the best of luck on your journey to freedom!
  7. First and foremost, I would like to apologize to the everyone who was worried about me and thought something bad happened to me around my previous surgery date. I was going through a whole lot of chaos mentally, emotionally and physically with very little support, so i felt it would be best for me to postpone my surgery for a later date or until everything got better. I know I haven't posted on here since October, maybe September, I don't recall but I'm here to let you know that I'm officially back on the bandwagon. This time im eady to lay all my cards on the table and finish what I previous started last year. I recently received a new surgery date, April 26th, and I'm more excited than previous surgery date I received. Internally I feel at peace and now it time to let it show externally. As most of you may already know, the only support I have is my sister and you all! Everyone else I spoke about it with are completely against my decision and desperately trying to change my mind, but I wont let that happen, no, not a chance in hell lol. I also decided to start a podcast from the beginning of my journey all the way to the end of it. As soon as I get the ball rolling I will definitely keep you all informed. To all my newly sleeved people, from sept. 2011-march 2012, I would like to congratulate you all on taken a major leap of faith and joining the journey to a better life and longer life. You have my FULL SUPPORT! To all my future sleevers I wish you all the best of luck on the pre-journey, I'm right there behind you cheering you on all the way to finishline!

  10. Once I again I would like thank everyone for their support! it's truly amazing and beautiful to have a supporting cast full of complete strangers that truly understand the trials and tribulations I go through, no, we gone through Pre and post sleeve. Even tho I'm a Pre-sleever still I am extremely well informed about the sleeve process for many reasons Pre and post. I've actually sat down and spoke to several Pre and Post sleevers one on one and received a whole lot of valuable input. Through the course of my return I will post them up for YOUR benefit. After 6 months of being away this website still amazes me. It's Definitely a beautiful thing!
  11. I kno you are looking for a friend to agree and support but I simply cannot grant that and enable you. Being too thin or too fat are both unhealthy and will effect you terribly. From the looks of it you trade one illness for another and both lead down the same road. I advise you to seek treatment and find a medium and balance that out into your daily life. We are only here to help... Gd luck & god bless
  12. u know i definitely will :)

  18. I went to see my surgeon thus morning and after hours of waiting, due to the high volume number of patients and the shortage o staff, he finally gave me a date! I'm utterly excited, after months i can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, Change is coming and I'm excited to meet and greet her! Doc said it mandatory that i get down to 300lb FIRST though, before my next visit which will be in a month... any ideas on how i can lose some weight? (already seeing my nutritionist, but I'm looking for Sleeve community assistance, who better to help you than the people who are going or went through it already)... feel free to leave suggestions and comments. I'm all ears like Dumbo!
