  1. Hi I'm Sara from Freehold New Jersey. I was banded on August 17, 2006 and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It really hasen't stopped me from doing anything at all. I even went on a cruise two months after the surgery. I probably should be eating a little healthier, but my life has been really hectic lately and eating out and parties have been keeping me very busy. I try to live life on a tasting menu. When I go to a party or a restaurant, I order what I'm in the mood for and taste a little to satisfy me. Courses are always a problem but a little taste here and there have kept me losing about 7 lbs a month. The only problem I have is the hunger. I keep snacks in my car and try to eat every two hours. I would love to find a support group to share recipes and tips with in my area.
