  1. I want to say first, I really know the weight loss is the most important part, and being healthy in general, but I do have some fears. Is there anyone out there who has lost their weight and who doesn't need plastic surgery? I don't want to have to deal with tummy tucks and lifts and all that stuff. I do hope to one day put on a bikini also, yes I'm a dreamer. Any success story right now of a flat stomach would really motivate me.
  2. I am getting a little nervous so just wondering if anyone can ease my mind....I am actually really hungry. I'm only on liquids (still 1st week post-op) and they don't stay with me. I'm hoping that mushy foods will be better and solid food in a few weeks will finally hit me the way it's supposed to. Everyone says 2-3 bites and they're full, I'm just hoping that this happens for me once I get to solids.
  3. I am just 3 days post op, So far it has not been easy but today I'm slightly feeling like myself at least. My problem is my insides feel like they're gurgling constantly. I can feel it and hear it. Also every once in a while I have a stabbing pain in my stomach that goes away quickly. I can't tell if I'm hungry or if it's just the surgery and will get better as I heal. Has anyone else had these problems?

    Florida Sleevers!

I'm 12 days away from surgery in Daytona Beach, Dr. Sebastien is doing it. I haven't read one thing about him on here yet, but I trust him completely. Hope I'm not being naive but mostly I am just so excited to get the surgery done and start the rest of my life. I know it's going to be hard but I can't wait.
  5. I think we're in the exact same boat, just finished day 3 of low carb pre-op. I have a feeling it will get easier after the first week. I also have a countdown calendar to remind myself how soon my surgery is. I think if I can survive the two week pre op I will be able to do anything after surgery. I don't think there is any way to totally cut your carb cravings, but having a snack like cheese helps a little. If you find some low carb treat that actually feels like a treat then it helps you not miss the carbs. I'm getting ready to make a small hamburger with cheese and a side of broccoli. Good luck with the rest of your pre op.
