  2. yes more than likely they will. I always get nervous when I have a fill.
  3. tell them you have a tooth ache and it just feels better to eat mushie food.
  4. that does sound like you are too tight. Try mushies for a day or two and see if the irration goes down. I have heard that meats can be hard to pass for some people.
  5. @ stevegoad - that sounds do-able. My stomach is really bothering me today. Not sure if I ate to much yesterday or if something just irrated it. No bueno!
  6. I don't know. That was what I was wondering myself. I know that my stomach is bothering me today.
  7. Can you reverse a stretched stomach if you stretched it out over your band?
  8. you should be fine for the superbowl. I traveled 8 weeks after my surgery. I just ate very little and if I was scared I went for the mushie food options. You will be so amp'd up about the Superbowl that you will probably forget to eat in all honesty. That's how I am when I travel.
  9. I think I would do it again.
  10. I was so happy when I got to leave the plus size section! Yeah for you! Keep up the good work!
  11. I am a year and a 1/2 banded and I felt the same way. Remember you made a major life decision to have WLS and you don't want it to go to waste. That is how I have to think about it. If I want something I eat it in a very small amount. Man what I would give to chug a big ole soda! But it isn't good for us. Being or feeling better is a much better feeling in the long run. I have to keep thinking that I did this for the long haul long term and wanting something now is a very short term satification. Know what I mean!? Hang in there it gets easier once you really start to feel the weight loss and notice the lifestyle change and get the complaiments from others and when the aches and pains go away. Just keep thinking "long term".

  16. I had this once and they did change all the fluid out and put new fluid back in. After that happened I never look at the fluid. I pick a spot on the ceiling and focus and breath. I hate hate hate getting a fill so much that I will put it off as long as I think I can. I had a bad experience with a person giving me a fill that it gives me alot of axietity (misspelled) and they marked my chart not to have that person do my fill again. My surgeon was nice enough to put my port real deep (not)and they have to use a longer needle and I found that out by someone digging in my belly with a needle too short and that hurt. Then she finally realized maybe she needed a longer needle. I hope that your experiences are going good.
  17. I used Gas X strips that go on tongue. If you don't want to chew you can suck until they dissolve.
  18. I had alot of hair loss, alot. So much that I had to have a plumber come out and fix the main drain coz it was so clogged. It does not last forever and it does start to grow back.
  19. Well how did the dr. appt turn out? I am curious I have the same pains that you are having but just not lasting as long.
  20. i have the same pain under my left side under my ribs and breast area. I go for testing for gallbladder tomorrow. Yikes! it hurts almost ever time I eat. I thought maybe I stretched out my stomach above the band. DR is starting with gallbladder testing first.
