  1. i'm new to this site but im so scared and thinking of not doing it because of all the eroision and slippage also, i'm still working on the 5% loss and also going to have it done at cottage hospital with dr thoman so any words of comfort from you would be great, im not sure where or how to respond hope you get this  Hi, I'm having my Band on Monday, March 29th in Santa Barbara, CA and traveling 2.5 hours to be there as there is no Center of Excellence in my hometown. Starting to worry about port issues, tubing leaks that I've been reading about and it seems all too common. Hadn't thought about it before while being so busy getting pre op testings/approvals for the surgery. Could use some moral support and encouragement to help me on my way.. Thanks!
