Thurs around 10:00 is good. I didn't want to miss you! It will be great to meet you! Klalfin13 (Natalie) is having surgery the same day as me - 1/2 hour later with Dr. Hoehn. (It must not take long to cut out 2/3 of a stomach! Hee Hee. Thanks for all your support!! Renee

Just checking in with you. Lots of emotions right now. Today is pretty good, but a couple days ago I was wondering what the heck I'm doing! Wednesday better get here soon or I will have talked myself out of this!! When are you think you are going to come by Heartland? My husband will drive back up to get me on Wednesday after work so I will probably be there until Wednesday eve until 7:00ish

Hey Natalie. I know what you mean about being nervous. I am pretty good today, but a few days ago I was wondering what the heck I'm doing?? Lots of emotions right now. I have really had a hard time staying on my preop diet. For the most part I have done very well, but did fall off a couple times last week. Have you lost anything preop on this crazy liquid diet?? See ya Wednesday!

How are you doing? I wish I didn't have to cook for my family. Sure makes it tough. My stomach is growling.....I'm hungry! Not much longer though.

Thanks for your number Deb. I put it in my cell phone so I will have it saved. I'm hanging in there on PreOp Diet. Seems harder to do this time around. Not sure why. Too much food in the house. I have three sons that live at home (ages 15, 18 and 21) so I'm still cooking! Maybe that's the problem.... I'm trying to stay focused!!!

I don't have a preop with Dr. I was scheduled for surgery in December, showed up at the hospital the morning of surgery and they sent me home due to a really bad cold and chest congestion. They told me They did not require a preop with Dr. since I had already done that in December. I may call and ask to see him as I will be in KC on Wed afternoon, the 6th, to have blood work done at Heartland.

How's the preop diet going. I am struggling, but hanging in there. I'm hoping it's gets easier after another day or two. Right now I just something with some real flavor. I actually chewed up a couple chips with salsa and spit them out (didn't swallow) just so I could taste them. Was kinda gross, but it seemed to satisfy me....Hope you are hanging in there. Only 12 more days.

Hey Deb. Yes, I started my Preop diet today. Am really struggling so was good to see your words of encouragement!!! My surgery is at Heartland Spine & Specialty Hospital on Nall and yes, you can come see me if you want. It will be great to meet you in person - as I feel like I already know you!

I saw your post about your upcoming surgery. I am scheduled for April 13 in Kansas City. It looks like we will be starting out about the same weight (still wondering how I got to 330???). I start my two week liquid diet on Wednesday. Let's stay in touch. It will be good to support each other!

I rescheduled my surgery - April 13. Just hoping I don't catch a cold between now and then! Husband is coming down with something and I'm spraying Lysol everywhere. I see you are down 150! That is amazing. You must be so proud of yourself. Congratulations!!!

Just wanted to say hey. I joined the board about the same time you had your surgery. You are doing great - almost 90 pounds gone! Keep up the good work. You must be so proud of yourself and feel soooo much better. I am rescheduled for surgery on April 13.
