Hello and congrats to you!! I'M Nicole and like you I am very new to this entire thing. I was banded on 02/28/11 here in Las Vegas, NV by Dr. James Atkinson. You mentioned noises coming from your belly, I have noticed that too. So far I have really been pleased, my surgical sites are virtually gone!! My belly looks amazing, much of the brusing has really faded!! I like you have so much to learn and to experience and am so happy I made the choice to save my life. Hello everyone! With the encouragement of my husband, I decided to join this board. I have been banded since 02/28/11 and just in the last two days, been pretty rough... I'm thinking it's withdrawl symptoms, however I'm happy I made the choice and I hope to learn so much from everyone here. I am married, to my very best friend and totally in love with Michael and we live in Las Vegas Nevada since 2002. I am an office manager for a dental practice in addition to being a graduate student. So again, I am here to learn, meet new people and to maximize my decision to save my life.
