I had my surgery on March 16 this year. I have lost approximately 2 pounds per week. I have lost 61 to date. Over the last couple of month I have been stuck with having to be filled and unfilled. I am stuck in a 4 pound range. I have been having problems with having foods getting stuck and having to drink water to get it out of my esophagus and into my stomach. What is going on. Has any one else had this problem and what do I need to do?

Hi Lizzy. I have had multiple unfills and fills. My doctor here in Missouri who has been absolutely wonderful says that if I am having problems with drinking liquids I need to let him know asap. There shouldn't be that much swelling. I have the problem that my port becomes tighter sometimes a week later. Currently I am at a stuck point. I have lost 61 pounds since surgery on march 16th. I have been a steady loser except for the problems the last couple of months. However I have great supportive doctor and PA that I can call or talk to any time. Don't wait call and get some fluid out.
