Girl..... Congrats on getting one step closer. I'm so glad to hear that you like your surgeon. I believe that is a very important element of any successful surgery. Don't beat yourself up over the regain pounds. We ALL have done it. Start again fresh tomorrow. YOU can do it. I believe in you. HUGS Deb

I had my surgery on Tuesday the 17th and so far so good. My question is I see so many people talk about gas pains, when do they start? Right after surgery or few days later.... when? Deb

Heavyweight from Kansas here. I need to lose approximately 140 pounds. Right now I am on my pre-op diet and have lost about 15 pounds in 8 days. I realize most of this weight is Water weight, but I am still very excited. I have 6 more days of pre-op. I am 5'5 and I would like to weigh about 140. I want a little bit of meat on the bones and that's why I went with a higher weight. Deb

You read my mind. LOL. I was just at Walgreens looking for the sticks. I'm on my pre-op diet and losing weight like crazy, so I was wondering if I was in Ketosis. That's were I have bought them before when I was on Slim 4 Life. At my Walgreens they didn't have them, but there's a Walgreens on every street corner here so it shouldn't be hard to find someone who has them. Good luck. Deb

I haven't had surgery yet,but my surgeon told me he will use a 34 bougie on me. My BMI is currently 47. Deb
