That's the one thing I wish I had done was taken plenty of BEFORE pics. I didn't becuz I didn't like the way I looked. I'm taking plenty of DURING pics and it's so freaking fun now. Good luck as your journey progresses and please keep us updated. Deb P.S. GO CHIEFS

  21. Interesting!!!! Do you have true hunger or just cravings? Head hunger? I was able to eat mushies after week two, but food was a BIG turn off for me to say the least. It was very hard for me to think about food much less eat right after surgery. Even now I am three months out I remember certain foods that were tasty to me and I think I bet they still are, Nope they are not. I think If I didn't have to eat again I would be happy camper. I KNOW I have to eat, so that's why I do eat. Which to me is kinda sad. I think my taste buds are still off. Hopefully that will change SOON!!! Deb
  22. Terrific Carrie!!! I was thinking about you just the other day. I remember reading some of your posts here right after your surgery and what a HARD time you were having. I glad things are better for you. Thank you for sharing your weight loss. WAY TO GO!!!! Keep up the great job sleeve sista. Please post when you can. There are people here who do care what happens to you. GOD bless. Deb
  23. Hi Vickie, I used the sugar free DaVinci Gourmet syrup. There are several flavors, like caramel and raspberry. 2 Tbsps have zero calories, carbs and 10 mg of soduim. I just mix it in my Greek plain yogurt and to me it's very tasty. You can also mix it in your Protein shakes if need be. You can buy the DaVinci syrups at Sams Club and some grocery stores. Make sure you get the sugar free one tho. There are some DaVincis that are not sugar free. I hope this helps. Deb;)
  24. Your best bet is cottage cheese, eggs and Greek yogurt. Those are my staple foods. A 1/2 cup of cottage cheese has 15 grams of Protein and 5 grams of carbs. Greek yogurt is between 12 to 20 grams of protein per container depending on which brand you get. If you get the Greek yogurt with fruit your carb count goes up to about 17 grams. I get the ones without fruit and they are about 6 grams of carbs. I count carbs, so this very important to me. Good luck, Lisa. Deb;)
