  1. nope, you are not alone. i am 10 months out now, lost 52 lbs, but down 5 dress sizes. i still have that big plate mentality, will probaly always have it unfortunately. i am tight in the mornings and lunch, so i usually cant eat much then. i have a protein shake in the morning, and for lunch is usually tuna or chicken salad, something soft but filling. at dinner is when my band is looser and i can ea with no problems. i drink warm tea or coffee and that helps with the tightness.

  2. i didn't tell anyone except family at first. then alot of people at work noticed i had lost alot of weight and was asking. the only ones at work that know are on my shift at night and in my department. I to didn't want everyone "staring" at me thinking i took the easy way when in fact i had been trying on my own for years before i just did it. It is your choice if you want to tell anyone, and it is no one's business. I told people i work with as i work in Healthcare and if anything happens to me, they know i have a medical device implanted in me.

  3. I completely understand. i thought i was going to lose my mind. i did cheat one day as our whole neighborhood was having this huge cookout pre-easter and i was not going to sit there and watch everyone else eat. so yes i ate and ate. lol! and i was fine after that. got right back on board the next day and made it the rest of the week until my surgery day. don't feel bad if you cheat once, i am sure i was not the only one who cheated during the "fast". :P
