What is the clinical name for the B12 injections that lap band patients received?

Well, I did rather well. He ordered chicken fajitas. I had two slices of his chicken. Drowned it in salsa and ate the quacamole.....the he left me alone with the chips. After a few, It was not worth it. I need another fill. It is obvious. Thank you all for your comments and support. We had a good time. It is only one day, I am about to have a margarita. Just to Celebrate and then we are done. Extra time on the treadclimber tomorrow.

It is my husband's birthday. Tomorrow he has requested mexican food for dinner. So, I am taking him out. What should I choose? Feel like I need to tape my mouth shut so I will stay away from the chips.

I do start to feel a bit hungry after a few hours. Here is my day. I have coffee in the morning and nothing until about 1pm. lunch : Something small w/protein. ( I have to watch my Protein intake because of my cholesterol. Inherited.) By the afternoon. I am starving and my band has loosened and I can eat. It does not help that I am a stay at home mom, who homeschools. I dont want to talk bad about my surgeon. But there really is no support there. I started off really well until about 8 mos ago. I took a bite of my daughters salad and it stuck, ended up having Fluid removed. Every since then, I can not get back to the sweet spot.

I am almost 2 years post band. That shoulder pain is going away. It was alway a tool to help me "put the fork down". I kind of miss it.

I am almost 2 yrs post surgery. I love my band, however, recently I do not feel the restriction. I have been to the doctor for fills several times. Nothing. Two weeks ago he did a fill check. Pulled all Fluid out and then refilled it to see exactly how much I have. My level is 6.2. I can still eat. I am making bad choices. So here are a few questions. I used to feel some pain when I had a good restriction. Now I have no pain. Is this how it is suppose to be? Or do I need another feel? I miss that little pain I would get when I did not chew enough. Please help.

So the holidays REALLY messed me up. I am trying to get back on track. I am logging my calories. Only thing is...I need meal ideas. Please help me get back on track. Please.

Everyone that knows me, knows that I have always been fat and how much I have struggled. I am proud of my band. Not proud that I had to resort to surgery, but proud of it. I did not want to lie because I knew it would slip out one way or another. Way I see it, non supporters can "kiss it". But maybe I should start doing it.

"OMG, You look great...what are you doing?" You tell them...you had lap band. And you get that look. You know the one, excitement gone and they dont know what to say. You know the look... Makes me a bit disappointed and frustrated.

JanB23...Ok, that just stinks, being sick while in Hawaii. So wrong. I keep the nausea meds in my fridge and refill them when they expire. Anytime I think there is even a chance that my kids have something, I have it handy for myself. On vacations, I tape it to the inside of our ice chest, just in case.

Well, after a few months of taking the Vitamin Niacin, my numbers went up to 450. Highest they have ever been. That was 2 weeks ago. My doctor has ordered Crestor for me. Just waiting for it to come in from the mail pharmacy. Do not like taking meds at all. But I have 3 little ones and my parents had their strokes in their 40's...I am not far from that. Scary. Crestor gave me leg cramps before, but doctor said that was nothing, really, to worry about. If I could handle the cramps, stick with it until my numbers are low then they will change it again. I pray I can get this down. Not like I am eating tons of fried foods, burgers, ice cream or chili cheese fries. WTH? This is so unfair. I did the surgery so I could get healthy and off meds. Gotta thank my father for his genes.

Well, shool is in session and stomach virus is rampid. My kids are in elementary and to be more involved, I have joined the PTO. Only thing is, I am at the school more and exposed to viruses. I am so worried about getting something and having to have Fluid removed from my band. For those of you who have had a stomach virus or anything like it, please share how you got thru it.
