My name is Ingrid and like a lot of you, I have had a weight issue for most of my life. As far as, I can recall correctly, my struggle started at the age of 9! Before then I was a thin child and would not care about what I would eat. After, I had began to gain weigh, remember going out dress shopping with my mother and not being able to find anything in my size that was age appropriate. My mother said to me, " You need to lose some weight!" and my reply was, "It's just more to Love!"
Once I hit adolescence the weight I had gained went to all the right places, AT&T(Ass, Tits and Tights)LOL! I had filled out in all the right spots. But, I was doing things to my body that wasn't health, to kept from gaining weigh. I tried drink milk for a meal instead of eating, skip meals and number of other things to stay thin at a young age. Then, I remember taking Health class in ninth grade, from Mrs Triplett. She explained, that if we as women do not stay active, your weight will creep up on you. She, also told us about the, "Freshman Fifteen!" At that point of my life it stayed with me and kept me into sports through out high school.

Once I got to college, I remember the words of, Mrs. Triplett and kept the Freshman 15 off, plus lost some weight and was down to a 7/8 dress size. The smallest that I had ever been. But, I didn't stay that way for long. The way that my body is proportion, I was able to slowly start to gain weigh without it really showing and I was back into a size 12 again.

After two in a half year in college, I got pregnant! I didn't gain a ton of weight during the pregnancy, so I thought that I would be ok! Well, I guessed wrong. Shortly after having my son, my weight began to blossom. By age 22 I was wearing a 18-20. This left me in a funk. New baby, having to work and no funds to join a gym, what was a girl to do? Well, spend the next 19 year with her weight ballooning up to 274lbs.
