LOL.... I was banded feb 25, 2011 and I started soft foods 5 days after. I eat pudding , hard boiled eggs, and the middle of a potatoe. I have no problems but i get so scared reading this cause people stay on liquids forever. I am fine with everything and have no problems so I hope it doesnt hurt me. I am new to this site and and really need support. my doctor says first month is healing then losing weight. I also have an empty band cant have a fill till 9 weeks ... I hate that . I wish i could .. anyhow .. hope to be friends with you. I am looking forward to having someone to talk to.

yeah my doctor told me first month dont worry about calories ..... and just heal ... i was just banded 7 days ago

Did you know that there is a "group" for each month of banding on this site?? You can hopefully even find someone in your area or who was banded on the same day for support. If you scroll down the main forum page you can find each month, even age groups. If you go under members you can put in your zip code and find people in your area that are also on the site for additional support. Wishing you the best. I AM SO SORRY I WAS JUST BANDED ON THE 25TH OF FEB.... KEEP ME POSTED ON WHAT YOUR DOCTOR SAYS. I HOPE EVERYTHING IS OK. I THINK YOU WILL START LOSING SOON. MY DOCTOR WONT EVEN GIVE ME ONE FILL TILL 9 WEEKS AND MY BAND IS COMPLETELY EMPTY! WHAT TYPES OF FOOD ARE YOU EATING AND DO YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH IT GOING DOWN?

I am same weight and also have the same insurance and i also just was banded feb 25th. I cant wait to see how you doing! i am finally feeling better i want to succeed so bad but i am scared to death! I cant fail a million people know i got this thing and everyone is watching ! UGGH .... lol that can be good though give me motivation but, it also scares me! well hope to keep in contact with you!!!
