I am a 68 year old retired RN who is 11 days from LB surgery and getting nervous. So many questions.

My surgery will occur at Methodist Hospital in St Louis Park MN on March 8th. The health team that is working with me is remarkably organized and provided me with a large loose leaf notebook explaining everything and each member of the team has walked me through their sections. They are very informative and supportive....still I have questions and 'trepidation'. Such a big move.

Prior to adopting my new born twins I was quite thin...had been all my life. I began this obesity journey in my fifties. I am morbidly obese now and shocked even still when I look at myself.

I have good support from my 'no fat on him' husband of 30 years. In my support group are a few close friens and my dear physical therapist. I have an advancing condition call chronic myofascial disease. With the help of a good health team, I lead a pretty happy life with many interests.
