I'm 25 years old. Hypothyroid, diagnosed in 2007. With Hypothyroid, I've gained 80 lbs! It went undiagnosed for a long period of time and after constant doctors appointments for fatigue and other symptoms I finally got diagnosed! I've been on levothyroxine since, and have lost 20 lbs.

Lapband will be my tool to lose the next 60 lbs. I have no close friends/family who have had wls and am hoping that with this forum I may network and connect with others who are or have been going through the same procedure. I am scheduled to be banded on 2/18/2011 and am very excited to share my journey with wls.
