  1. Hi Fattyboomboom, Good luck with your banding on 12 July in Brussels. I was banded on 19 April (I was banded in Brussels though I live in London) and I have to say that the hospital and staff (especially my surgeon Dr Chris de Bruyne and his team), were first class. Absolutely nothing whatsoever to worry about with regards to 'horror stories' nor having your surgery in Europe. The wind pains can be pretty intense but just ensure you stock up on some painkillers and you'll be fine. Happy to answer any questions you may have and here's to new and exciting journeys. A
  2. I'm being banded this Tuesday (19th) and I'm so excited though I'm sure the nerves will set in come tomorrow/Monday! I'm really looking forward to keeping in touch with everyone and I'm hoping to give and receive much valued support along the way.
  3. Amazing and so inspiring... especially as I'm 2 weeks away from surgery and was beginning to feel a little negative re some of the posts. Thank you for sharing your fantastic/positive journey so far.
