  1. what's your recipe for crockpot enchiladas?
  2. I also can eat all 3 of them.
  3. loved mine too. My dr gave it to me before I left the hospital.
  4. great job girl!!! I was only down 18 pounds in 2 months!
  5. if you are still on pain meds, they will constipate you.
  6. what's so bad about a little loose skin and scars?!!! What's your alternative?! I'll take my lose skin any day!
  7. glad you are feeling better. Going in today for a little unfill myself!
  8. I was hungry too postop, I was able to start soft foods on day 12. Hang in there and good luck!
  9. dinner is also my biggest meal of the day because that is when I will have a starch with my meal. Don't think it hindered my weightloss. As long as you keep your calories under control, you should be fine.
  10. You have only been banded for 13 days! I didn't feel restriction for a long time, prob at one year being banded. Just give it time. And I have realized that for me, it is not about restriction. I can eat pretty much anything except for snap peas and snow peas. I have had my band tighten up a few times and that's when I realized that I don't want to limited on what I can eat. I just eat smaller portions of things that I still enjoy.
  11. I stick to liquids the first day of a fill and soft foods the day or 2 afterwards. Maybe you just ate the potatoes too fast. I still eat potatoes and never have a problem even if eating baked potato skin.
  12. if you can go about 4 hours between meals and not feeling hungry....I would say you are in the greenzone! I hope you are! I found that if I wasn't hungry at breakfast time I would wait until I was, then my lunch and dinner would be at different times. Sometimes it is hard to get out of the thinking that it's noon time, I have to eat lunch!!
  13. I have had many top 5 foods as I eat within a box for about a month at a time until I am on to my new fave! As for now..... 1. Aidell's chicken sausage 2. Pure Protein bars 3. Madame edadame 4. fresh green beans 5.honeydew and watermelon
  14. thanks lap5280! Looking good in your picture too! Wondering now if I will be able to do another 3 tomorrow morning!
  15. woot, woot!! I ran 3.1 miles today followed by another 1mile walk! If I can do it, anyone can! I shaved a minute off my run, that's the next thing I am going to work on.
  16. I was just like you! The first time I ran earlier this year I barely made it 2 houses down my street. I have now run 2 5k's. I always walk in the mornings during the week but last Saturday before work I ran 2 miles at 6 am and was actually looking fwd to it. Yep, I now call myself a runner! And that to me blows my mind as well!
  17. Same thing happened to me last week and I really think it was the airplane ride. But then someone told me maybe it's the heat. I'm not sure, thinking it's a combo of the two.
  18. wow, good for you!!
  19. Well, I never expect to get full. That feeling is long gone. But what I have found helped was adding a 4th meal. Sometimes I will eat my lunch as early as 10:30 or 11 if I am really hungry. Then again around 2 and then dinner a few hours later.
  20. I don't expect to use the extra calories either from exercise.
  21. Good for you!! I miss snap peas and snow peas..they are just a few of the things that don't go down good for me, even after destringing them.
  22. Why haven't you been back to see the dr? Don't be afraid of the scale. I weigh myself every day. It's one of the things that keeps me accountable. The only time I don't want to get on it is when I know I had a bad day the day before. Sure, muscle weighs more than fat, but 9 pounds of muscle seems like a lot of weight training to gain that. Sounds like you should get in to the dr and see what needs to be done to get you on the losing track again. Good luck.
  23. if your port has broke through the skin, sounds like a medical necessity to me. Are they not going to fix it for you?
