    TWO weeks post-op

hi, i just had my surgery september 22, 2010 and i am never hungry. and i haven't had any cravings. i know it's different with everyone though so i can't say that is the way it will be with you. i do make sure i eat three times a day even when that is only an ounce to 1/4 cup of food at each meal. right now i am eating pureed foods and they sit kind of heavy on the stomach and i stay full longer. i hope everything goes great with your surgery as did mine. i couldn't be happyier. good luck
  6. i was told that the caffeene in coffee is a diretic and that is not good after getting sleeved and also the coffee binds with one of the vitamins i think its iron and that if you take them together the iron is like you don't take it at all

  7. hi sstoots, i was sleeved at kaiser richmond too by dr fisher, on sept 22nd. everything went great and i had 5 incisions. they are no big deal and my mom had the same surgery and her scars are barely seen. i only had one incicion that really hurt at all. and only for a few days. sacredrose41
  8. hi mommy, i was just sleeved in richmond, ca i loved it, the care i got was great, the nurses were so nice and everything went so smooth. i am only 17 days out from my surgery and i have already lost 16 pounds. things went very fast for me too. i had my orientation in june around the first then i was sleeved sept 22nd. i hope things go as well for you and good luck and congratulations on your weight loss. i had to loose 30 lbs for my pre op. how much do you have to loose. sacredrose41
  9. hi chrissy, i was just sleeved in richmond to sept 22nd, i am doing great so far, i'm still on full liquids. how are you. sacredrose41

hi, i had my surgery september 22nd, 2010, i came out doing great, i had very little pain and started walking right of way. i am now in my 2nd week of full liquid and am about to start the pureed stage. i am so looking forward to that. i currantly eat 1/4 to 1/2 of a cup 3 times a day and i am not hungry at all. i think that is fantastic. i love not wanting food all the time. my doctor gave me a very small sleeve he said smaller than most so he said be carefull not to streach it. i am just so excited about my new journey in life i had to share somehting with someone. i hope you like it and i will post more at a later date.

i'm still waiting to get my surgery date. i have been on a pre-op diet and had a goal to loose 30 lbs, well i have lost 42 so far. i will probably loose a little more before i get my date too. i'm waiting to retest my blood. i had my liver and kidney tests come back bad (not within range) they were slightly elevated and my dr reduced two of my medications and said that should do it and retest in 3 weeks that will make it sept 7th. so hopefully soon after i'll get the good results and get myself a surgery date, yea.:huh0: heres hoping that soon i'll be getting my gastric sleeve bypass. sacredrose41 Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

the begining i have been thinking about this surgery for at least two years now but not sure what kind to get. i knew i needed to quit smoking and loose some weight prior to surgery so i got started on that. quiting smoking too some works, 6 serious trys before i got it right. but i did it and i can do this so the the weight loss is comming along slow but sure while i'm still deciding weather or not i really wanted the surgery for sure. well finally i do and make an appointment with my docotor who knows how long i have been thing about this and she put me right through everything all the tests were set right up and i was pushed right through real fast. come to find out it usually takes at lest a year. i see my surgon dr david fisher and he wants me to loose an addiontional 30 lbs. so i started at 277 i have to loose an addiontional 30 that will bring me to an even 230. then he said we will schedual the surgery. i am 1 lb away from my pre surgery goal. i have 90 to go after my surgery.
