  3. Ok...thank you so much TKW! it is been about 8 months since I have been in the gym so i think I will start real slow LOL
  4. So happy for you! I will be 5 weeks post op on Monday...I started walking last week...I was thinking I had to wait 6 weeks to hit the gym...but after reading your post I think I will start first thing Monday! Good luck
  5. I have started walking at 3 weeks post op...that's not really moving the scale...I want to start doing some light workouts in the gym...will it be ok to go ahead and start at 5 weeks post op?
  6. I eat this about 4 times a week....1 can of tyson chicken. Mushrooms and bar b Que sauce...use a food masher to on the chicken so it is easier to chew...it is so good! Taste almost like pork barbecue!
  7. My favorite is the Fuze water...on 10 calories and it taste great!
  8. Thank you all so much....your support has been very touching...I do feel much better this week...I spoke with my Dr. And he assured me that he and I control this band and I don't ever have to be so tight to wear I am throwing up or can't still enjoy the food I enjoy in moderation...I am down 24 lbs in 2 weeks! Just making smart decisions and stopping eating when I feel comfortable....I think I am going to be just fine. Thank you all again..bless you
  9. I am so happy this question was asked! I have only been banded for 2 weeks...I have really noticed that I can not eat much at all...the other day I had a little shredded cheese, diced ham, and French dressing and I felt like I had Thanksgiving dinner...this makes me so happy because I don't want to get a lot of fills. My Dr even told me he didn't think I would require a lot. My main thing is controlling my head hunger...today I stayed in the house all day and my head kept telling me I was hungry...I prayed for strength and luckily I didn't pig out..I am scheduled for my first fill may 24th ...I may get a really small fill..I just never want to be so tight that I can't eat or get sick..I refuse to put myself through that...if I get everything together mentally and emotionally I will be able to achieve success! Good luck on your journey
  10. I am newly banded on 4/11/11 so I have jot tried pizza or any other bread yet. Pizza is one of my favorite foods! But I have decided to just try and eat the topping and leave the bread..hey at least I will still get the taste..and if I get supreme I am getting protein and veggies in LOL
  11. Good luck girl! Your a cutie I am sure you will do just fine!
  12. I am right there with you girls...I to got banded in hopes I would lose enough weight to become pregnant. I don't have pcos but do to my weight I have incredibly irregular periods. I am 8 days pre-op and have lost 20 pounds and guess what/I started my period. Well we should keep in touch on our journey....my Dr wants me.to wait 6 months to a year before trying.which works out great for me because I am 31 not much time left lol
  13. Thank you all so very much for your encouraging post...you all have helped me so much...bless you all! I am going to try make this thing work!
  14. Lordy I almost busted my stitches laughing at your post lol bread over SEX I hear you girl! Thank you for your post..hopefully soon I won't even think about bread
