congrat's... I am very proud of you for trying this.. it musut have been a hard choice and a scary one for you and your family.... I'm getting banded next month and I have the hernia as well.. my dr is fixing mine at the same time too... I have heard from many people that they did the same thing and a few threw up before they ended up going home too.... and 5 pounds is great.. whoohoo for you... go to the Chat... they are awesome poeple in ther and ask them anything they will try to help you as much as they can!!!

yep.... I get banded next month and I found myself doing the same thing.. but in small portions so its not totally bad.... but I cried when I finally found my favorite ice cream.. Coconut and Pinapple... not only was I sick.. but I also had just started the month with starting backwards on the eating stages so that I wont be putting myself thru a shock... lol...

I agree the pain is very bad.. and nobody unterstands unless they have it.... I have had it since I was 22 was diegnost with lupis and FM.. I am 32 now and will be banded in March.. I only take 800mg of Ibprofin for the pain and thats only when I can't take the headaches any longer.. those are the worse.. I can almost tolerate the body pain... but am wipped by the end of the day... and nobody understands... just think I am lazy... I can't do much of working out due to my heart rate drops and scares people..lol... I actually find it funny... see trainners think they know everything...lol... not!!!.... The worst and I mean the worst part is the depression... everyone sees me as the happy go lucky she is soooo stronge she can take on the world... but inside they dont see the woman standing in the middle of a room full of people screaming..... the person that can't understand why this is happening and nobody can understand... I work on this alone.. I write peoms and tell my stories... yet.. stilll nobody knows the real me inside ... My daughter does tho... she is 15 and my rock... and thats not fair... she is my guardian... and thats not fair... she should just be my daughter!!!... Dance.. listen to your favorite music and even if you just sway back and forth.. you are still moving... meditate while doing this.. pray and let your mind and body do what it can... just let go and realize you are doing the best thing that you can do for you and thats ok... do things in the shower.. wall pushups...drop the soap a few times..lol.. ther are your squats... dont let your mind realize that your everyday chores are also body movement...lol... or didnt you know that already... Your strong... you get out of bed and you go to work.... give yourself the credit you deserve if nobody else will!!!

I have UHC.. they covered it 100%... I pay True Results 1000.00 and the the hospital co-pay of 50.00....They have me for March... Good luck and yes stay on top of them... they got back to me in 2 weeks sooooo... whoohoo and congrats

wow I am not sure... I will be banded in march... best advice I can give to you is to go into the chat line.... ask around in ther they will help you!!

I am waiting .... Mid March is mine.. I will be posting as soon as I know the date... I am 32 will be 33 in March.. so this is a new year and a bday gift for myself... ... wow.. I am going thru TRUE RESULTS and I didn't need any of that... They sent it all, they did all the leg work and I did most of my testing with them....I saw them in Dec and was ready to go at the end of dec and the only thing that is holding me up is that my med turn over for the new year is March... so I will be banded in march....I SOOO love how everyone helps in here... I love the chat line too... soo much help

the 4 insision one is just like a gall bladder removal.... I can't see my scared cocobutter helps alot with that.. I will be banded in midmarch and my preop pay is 1000.00 plus my 50.00 copay... not too bad concidering the alternative..llol

I haven't gotn banded yet.. not til march but I have been asking lots of questions.... gasx and lots of walking and drinking water... they said anything that you can drink with a straw and has lots of protien... but shakes is all I hear about...protien shakes and waters... Unjury seems to have good ones and they have a website and a 15 dollar travel pack so you can try the diff flavors before you by the big containers.. they even have chickn soup flavored..lol.. good luck.. go to the Chat line they are awesome

I have the same insurance... 50.oo copay and 1000 out of pocket.... thank god!!!
