    HALLOWEEN CANDY!!!!

    I haven't had the willpower. I had 3 small bars a night which 150 cals the same as my pudding that I have minus the Protein. They are almost gone and then they won't be a problem. But I still don't go over my cals for the day. K

  13. I can do anything carb related. I don't think I will ever have bread again. Right now I can't even eat crackers. It has been 9 months and I don't crave them either . K
  14. Carabanded - I have had the same issues since my last fill in mid Sept. The good news I am in the green zone and losing weight. My band fills up so quickly now. Sometimes I can't drink my coffee so I switch to tea. I also find liquids sometimes harder. Especially protein shaked in the morning. You just have to keep trying. I find that I can take small bites of my protein bar that is called Oh Yeah. sometimes it takes me all morning to eat my bar. I take a bite or 2 then sip water or crystal light. Then in a hour or 2 I take another bite. I have also had to go back to pureeing my food. Good news I can't eat more than 1/2 - 1 C of food at a time. It is a slow process but I manage to get 1000+ cals in a day. I also can't drink after eating sometimes for hours as I am so full. When you are this tight getting sick and recovering takes longer.   15. Hi beautiful banders! I was banded on Feb 9, 2011 to date I have lost 82 lbs! My BMI is 30.5. I have another 30 lbs that I want to lose by my 1 year anniversary . The band has changed my life! Cheers, K
  16. Your human we all fall off. Just get back on the program. Every day is a new day. Put yourself first! You will feel better once you start to lose again. I just fell off the exercise wagon the last 4 wks. But good news I still lost weight and now back to working out to kick it up a notch! We will support you! Moving is tough! Stay strong & focused! Try a food diary to get back on track & 30 mins of exercise. Keep us posted! K

    Fill Advice Please

    NY Bandster - you most likely don't wan't more than 1 CC at a time. sometimes it takes up to 2 days for the fill to take effect. I would get 1 CC and book for 3 days later or the following week. Good luck & I hope you get restriction. Cheers, Kristi
  18. Giogirl - I am sorry you are having challenges. Don't give up. Have you talked to your doctor or seen a nutrionist? You may not be eating enough to fuel your body to be a fat burning machine. I eat 3 meals & 3 Snacks a day. I eat small and regually. I also aim for 60-80g of Protein. I am really tight but I also try and eat solids when I can. I find Oh Yeah bars go down easy. I also have gone back to pureeing my meats. You want to aim to get 1000-1400 cals. You may also want to try a food diary to track your protein. Good luck! Kristi
  19. I am at6.25 CC's. I was banded Feb 9/11. To date I am down 82 lbs and happy with myprogress. I am now in the green zone since my fill in September. I have had tochange my food choices as I cannot eat dense foods. Lately I tightened up moreand I can't do scrambled eggs or even Protein shakes until later in themorning. I have had to go back to pureeing my food. Any food suggestions orrecipes so I can reach my 50-85g of daily protein? My foods that I currently eat: puree beef or chicken with broth & spices Oh Yeah bars (15g of protein) - Can't do any other type of bar Premier shakes (30g of protein) Greek Yogurt sugar free pudding with Protein powder String cheese Baby bells cheese Soup Special K Protein drinks (5g of protein) Tried butto dense: Baked Beans Cottage cheese Any new ideas are welcomed or general discussion. Hopeabout drinking the Protein juice as it isn’t as thick. Sometimes I have problemswith Protein shakes. I also find Oh Yeah bars easier to eat too. I hope your unfill comes quickly – 2 moresleeps. Jachut/Jacqui – I know I am lucky to be in the green zone.As by BFF who is banded has no restriction and she is at 8.25 and going for anotherfill this week. As I am at 6.25 and good. Kristen – we had surgery around the same time. We also startedout at around the same weight too. B-52 – I am the queen of hick ups J. I listen to them as I havemade mistakes when I haven’tL.   22. Eating and drinking I couldn't do it if I wanted to - I am too full! I eat about 1/2 to 1 C max of food. I can't drink while eating if I wanted to. I sometimes can't comfortably drink for 1 or more hours after eating. I also burp a lot and sound like a taradacto dinasour! Sorry I think I spelt that wrong . Anybody find this?
