Pre-Op Diet! Protein Shakes Suggestions Please???

So I need to start preparing for my pre-op diet, and im clueless about what Protein shakes to purchase? any recomendations?? like what do I eat, whats allowe, what should I buy? protein wise? low cal? so many questions! bless your sweet heart for the help! -Pamela -
So upset, just receive the checks from my insurance for all the lapband pre op testing and lets just say im going to be in debt! some things wrnt covered! and its more then 11,000! ugh waht am i going to do! I dont think im going to continue with the actual surgery!

Ideas please!! can someone inform me of how a day in the pre op diet looks like? Food wise, meal plan, how much of it? Thank you so much!!!

I want to be banded already! I want to be able to share with others how im coming along and give them tips that have worked for me... But insurance is taking their sweet time to approve how discouraging!

Still waiting for insurance approval! But im hupefull! Ihave started doing pre op dieting to see How this works, been doing great! and hitting the gym! so how many calories a day do yall take? and how do you count calories!! HELP!

I will to be having Dr. Madan as my lapband doctor!! Waiting for approval still, have come in contact with some of his patients! and they all have nothing but good things to say about him! best of luck and let me know how it goes! :-)

Since im not sure when I will be approved, I started to do the pre-op diet! bought Designers whey protein shake, n yuck! no flavor whatsoever! mayvbe I should add some fruits! idk! lol

I am really sad! My insurance called to tell me that "biatric surgery" is not on my contract, I changed to PPO just for this surgery and now its not in the contract! ugh! WHAT SHOULD I DO???

I def understand you! im with 1-800-get-thin myself. And to my surprise they wanted me to see their gyno, for no reason! I guess they want the MULA! lol. My insurance is paying for. I am thought going to get my lapband with them i figure i came all thise way might aswell see it through. I have met patienst who have had the lapband procedure with them and have nothing but great things to say. I hope all goes well for u, and i hope for me to. :-) Have a blessed day!

Omg me too! Everyone just keeps talking about how it was on the news that someone died! and it just freaks me out, every surgery has a consequence, just like every action one takes, But the death rates are higher when you are obese so im willing to take that chance. i wish u the best!
