Hi, I am new to this forum. I had a Lap Band surgery in March 2010. I am in Calif. in North County San Diego. My Dr. was Dr. Oliak in Orange County. He is a great Doctor and has a great Support Group after surgery. While I was working, I went to them weekly. I have lost 30 lbs so far. I have since retired and live 70 miles away from the doctor. It is to hard to drive the 70 miles to go to class weekly in the traffic and then drive home. That is 3 hours or more on the road. I am looking for a support group that is closer to home or would entertain starting up a new support group with anyone that would like to help that also lives in the North County of San Diego. I can not be the only one that is out here. Support groups are so very important. They really do help keep you on track and remind us what we need to keep doing in order to hel pokeep the weight coming off. I would love to hear from anyone with any suggestions an ideas.
