  12. agree with reverie. a tiny unfill - you'll be amazed at what a difference it can make! maybe try more fish - I especially love tilapia & halibut. Fast & easy to cook, good Protein & pretty soft so easy to get down. cheers, chloe
  13. first fill didn't do that much for me. "Restriction" lasted about 2 days but then I was hungrier after it. It was 2 weeks til 2nd fill. Just got to power through it. Thankfully, my doc is pretty aggressive with fills. Band started empty, 1st fill was 4.5ccs, 2nd fill was 1.5ccs. 2nd fill turned out to be a bit too much & I got a slight unfill. Waited a few weeks & got a small 3rd fill. I've been at this point for almost 4 months now.....but I think I'm ready for another one. cheers, chloe
  14. checking today since I've been traveling this week. 171.2 ugh! traveling & desperately needing a fill are NOT a good combination.... cheers, chloe

  17. I start every weekday with a shake. I've never been a breakfast person & I am not going to get up any earlier than I have to just to eat. A shake fits into my schedule very well since I can drink it while I'm primping in the a.m. Starts my day with a lot of Protein & I don't snack mid-morning. everyone has their own preferences when it comes to Protein shakes. You've got to try some before you find something that *you* like. The best I thing I did was go to Vitalady.com. This site sells single servings of all the protein powders they offer. The single servings run about $1-$1.50 each. I ordered a bunch of different ones - liked some, hated most but this approach was a lot more cost-effective than buying a huge jar and then finding out I hated the taste. Vitalady also lists a bunch of shake recipes & ideas. Personally, I found the lower calorie ones (125 ca//serving) needed a little something to improve the taste...so I add 1c. soy milk or frozen berries. I really like the taste of the higher calorie ones (200 cal/serving) & they didn't require any additional enhancers - just some ice & a Magic Bullet. cheers, chloe
  18. sorry I'm late...traveling again! yesterday's weighin: 174.6 down 1lb from last week. officially hit the 50lb milestone cheers, chloe
  19. So true!! I was having the same problem - glad I'm not the only one I was using Benefiber to help with the constipation that also comes along with the band. Lets just say....there was a lot of noise but not a lot of action. if you know what I mean.... I tried some probiotic pearls. they are nice because they don't have to be refrigerated. within a day or two - i noticed the noise level dropped almost to nothing (just the occasional squeak) and other things started moving along more regularly. if you know what I mean..... good luck! cheers, chloe
  20. think about this period as "band bootcamp" a time for you to learn to be a successful bandster-in-training. Restriction probably won't happen at that first fill & you'll have a much easier time handling restriction (i.e. less stuck & pbs) if you pick up all the good bandster habits now. protein first? smal bites? lots of chewing? getting your supplements? tracking food in & exercise out?
  21. these pics are SO great!!!!! thank you for sharing
  22. Chloe here. sorry didn't check in last week - I've been traveling for work. Glad to be home! Checking in today at 176.2lbs......about 2lbs down from 2 weeks ago. not a bug numbers but Ill take it cheers, chloe
