Hello Everyone! FIrst I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer but everyone calls me Jen.. and my students call me a Witch but take the "w" out and replace it with a "b". I am a special eduction teacher and I live in the hot state of Florida.. but right now it is coooollllllddddd! bbrrrrrr! I have a son (6). I have been thinking about lap band surgery on and off for several years. I am now in the process of committing to it. I spoke with my insurance company and I know I have to do the 6 month dr. diet and psych test as well as go to one of their suggested drs. BUT I have not spoken to my Significant Other- I spoke to him about it years ago and he was against it so I am waiting until I get all the documentation before I approach him. So, to those that have been 'banded' or those that are about to be banded- how did you tell you SO? I dont want others to know (my mother and father do know) Also, those that have been banded- when did you do it and how much have you lost? Well... that is it for now... Peace and Joy, Jen
