    Welcome to the monthly challenge. June is here and time to start working on those summer activities. The Summer Challenge is a fun way to keep track of your monthly weight loss while gaining and giving support to other bandster's.
    Copy and post the template below and fill in the information that you are comfortable sharing on Friday June 1st the come back every Tuesday on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 30th and post your updated weight. I will keep track of the weights and try, and make a better effort at it than last month, to get a table listing everyone's results on the following weekend.

    For the second week in a row I am updating my weight a day later. I was at 227 this morning, that is 2 pounds less than yesterday, so that is the weight I am using.

    It is tomorrow, but some people have trouble following directions . The weigh-ins date's are all irrelevant anyway since they all get put on the table no matter when you weigh in. So if the weigh in is on Tuesday and you want to weigh in on Monday or any other day, go for it.

    The challenge is for you and no one else. I just keep track of the results. We post our weights on the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and last day of every month. I will compose a table each week, unless I forget to do it, and upload the link. Don't worry about posting late or early like I said the challenge is for you. Try to post your actual weight, not just gain or loss, and the name you used when you signed up if it was different then your LBT handle.
    Oh, one other thing you are required to keep me entertained, so be sure to post something about yourself and try to get to know the other challengers, plus you have to answer my stupid questions and laugh at my jokes.

    Big congratulations to CTMom who is now no longer a fat person with a BMI in the normal range.

    Congratulations to everyone who has already met their goal, to those close to meeting their goal, those who have lost any weight at all and even those who have gained weight this month. I think that everyone of us at least once in our life threw up our hands and thought "what's the use I will never loose any weight, let alone enough to make a difference". Just because you are participating in this challenge proves that you are making an effort.
    I expect to see everyone back for next months April Showers Challenge.

    Holy Moly, 6 pounds in one week. I'm happy with 6 pounds in a month anymore.

    Like Misha even though the scale hasn't been moving much I found out today that I can now fit into a 44 pants. Now 44 still seems big but compared to the 60 something (don't know my exact pants size since I only wore stretch band pants before) I was wearing this is a big event. The thing about this is the a size 44 is normally the largest size pants sold in stores, if you want larger you have to go to the big and tall store. It has been quite a few years since I was able to go to Target or Khol's and buy clothes, although Goodwill is still my main shopping source, it is nice to know that I could buy new clothes if I wanted to.

    Down to 235.5 only .5 away from my goal. Let's see if I can maintain on a weekend music trip.
    I have been having trouble making the time to get the chart uploaded, I will try to get it uploaded this weekend but it depends on when I get home from Metamora.

    My first thought would be the "Christmas Challenge" but that isn't politically correct and may be offensive to persons of other religions, of which I am one.
    "The environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most joyous traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, but with respect for the religious persuasion of others who choose to practice their own religion as well as those who choose not to practice a religion at all Challenge" was way to long.
    So let's just go with "The Holiday Challenge".

    The November Turkey Challenge. How was everyone's weekend? I stayed home this weekend, except for Sunday, went to church and to a house concert that evening to see The Small Potatoes.
