  1. Hi there, I'm new to this website. Looks like a great place to help each other out. I had lapband surgery on 10/2/10. I've been working out on my elliptical since the middle of October, 6 days a week, 32-35 minutes each workout plus I alternate my works with resistance, spped bursts and distance. In the Spring I would like to transition to running. My first objective is to run a 5K race in early May, 2011. Have any of you transitioned from elliptical to running and how did that work for you and would you have any suggestions to make the transition as easy as possible. I ive in Minnesota so I probably do want to start to run outside until late March, early April.
