  1. I have had as little as .1 taken out and found it a world of difference. Glad you are feeling better...now try and get lots of water in and rehydrate yourself.
  2. Well Cheryl, please do block me. I blocked you last week but am still subjected to all the rude post you make. I guess my block feature doesn't work so I'm hopeful that yours does. Now when I see a picture of a bee or any of the bee healthy bandsters I do move on, unless its a post that they did not start themselves. I happen to believe that I have something to offer fellow bandsters in terms of support...not ridicule or rudeness. I wish you busy bees all the best and a continued successful Bandster journey.
  3. I've used NOW liquid vitamins that taste great. I'm not a fan of chewable a and my understanding is that liquid bits are absorbed better into my system. I also give myself a vitamin b injection once a week...dr prescribed and approved.
  4. Hi Anume..I'm curious as to why it took so long to get a fill? Did you have regular aftercare? Was it your decision or your Dr's? I dont' know that I would have been able to go so long without a fill...I was just ravenous before I got to my sweet spot, which is only 5.0 in a 10 AP Lapband.
  5. Ladies (and gentlemen) not all surgeons require liquid for a day after a fill, mine certainly doesn't. So, if the OP's surgeon has a similar lapband philosophy as mine...then we need to take that into consideration.
  6. I agree...it would be up to your surgeon...if it were me with the flu, as much as I'm excited about the lapband, I'm not sure I would choose to get it while Ihave the flu...to me it sounds like a recipe for disaster. Fortunately you don't have it as yet...and I hope you do not get it at all. Wishing your son back to health quickly xox
  7. Welcome back Missy...those 2.6 pounds will be gone in no time
  8. Running is a good ab workout since you engage them to maintain good running form
  9. Lol...minimi...send me a link on your data...as I've said before, I'm going on my surgeon's data....ugh all you want but send me your data...I'd love to review it
  10. Angel...I have read it and was the first to post a link on this thread??
  11. 60 pounds in 6 months sounds like a solid loss to me...
  12. Missy has a wealth of information...and inspiration. She is on point completely...the math doesn't add up. Drink lots of water, be patient and stay the course.
  13. I'm like floridays, morning and night..it keeps me focused
  14. That sounds good as long as the breast is skinless. What are you putting on the orzo?
  15. Ribeye is my steak of choice...yum yum. And a tiny bit of salad and that does it for me
  16. Drink water and get out of the house and walk. If it continues, have a protein based 100cal snack.
  17. The weight gain is not real...10 pounds overnight would have meant you overrate by 35,000 calories. In a banded belly, I don't see how that would be possible. Drink your Water, get Protein in through shakes...ride it out and you'll likely drop the 10lbs plus extra
  18. Lapbandster....what would be the right amount of carbs? I think I hit 79 today. I haven't really pushed high carb, just it's a day with carbs and tomorrow will be a day without.
  19. I made some of that taco soup which comes in handy on carb days (today was my first one). How about a whole grain English muffin with peanut butter or quinoa
  20. Lose 5 lbs and consistently work out for a minimum of 4 days a week
  21. What is everyone's cycle? Do you predetermine yours or do you go with the flow? I was going to do high/low alternating days with Saturdays as my free day BUT I'm thinking maybe 1 high day 2 to low days...thoughts?
  22. Those are good starts Missy! For me I have my meats weighed and individually portioned. I love spinach so I'm thinking that could be one meal on low carb day. Then I have pea male bacon and those thin bagels that could toast up for breakfast with slice of tomato. Should work for both low carb no carb days....probably only be able to eat half of that sandwich. Or oatmeal and cottage cheese with cinnamon and sugar free syrup for breakfasts...
  23. That's a good question due to the fizzies. It's not carbonation but could expand the stoma. Is there anything else you can take in it's place?
  24. What a lovely hourglass figure. You're doing so well and the smile on your face in the second pic is radiant
