  1. Hello everyone, I've been reading the boards for a month now - shhhhh don't tell my boss! My insurance is approved and I am just waiting for the call from my Doctor to tell me my Band Date!! I'm very excited and looking forward to getting to know everyone. I am 43 - have three sons - 16, 14, and 8 - I have a wonderful happy life except for being over 300 pounds and tired all of the time. I've been a yo-yo'er since high school (a very long time ago) and can't wait to begin this journey. I start my pre-op diet on 12/26.
  2. My eight year old told me the other day that he was thinking about becoming an emo (someone at his school who has a high school brother is already wearing the hair and clothes). When I explained it to him he decided he would be a jock like his brothers instead. The cliques are starting early!
