I have been fighting my weight all my life. Would lose and then gain back plus extra. The usual story. But now I have been blessed with two grandchildren and I just have been feeling crappy. I felt it was my time to under go this procedure. I am 4 days post op and feel really well. Haven't had any setbacks. Going for my first post op visit next week. Looking toward each day as a new day and new experience. I am taking it one day at a time or else its all to overwhelming.

Well now to the second part of my journey. I had my lap band removed on March 6, 2013 becase the band slipped. Now this past April 18, 2013 I have had a sleeve conversion. Surgery to longer because i had scar tissue. But good news did not need a drain. Feeling good on day three but already sick of liquids. Go to see Dr. Hoffman on Tuesday for post=op. With the band I got down to 395 but then gained over 30 lbs before surgery. Sucks. Bt hopefully I will be back on track and start loosing. He said I could loose 200 this year alone.
