Let us not forget 9/11. I am mourning for the people who lost their family, friends or people close to them, to this unspeakable tragedy. Let us protect our country and support each other in times of need.

What I was doing when the terrorists attacks started:

I was just waking up and looking at my ceiling. Mom called me down and told me to "come here quick!". I jumped up and ran to where mom was. The tv was on and I saw the second tower go down. I was shocked. How could something like this happen? Are people that sick? I continued watching. I remember dad coming home after a half-hour later. The tv was set to CNN for 3 days straight. I will never forget 9/11.

Peace and God-bless and I hope all of you are safe with your families.

I too will never forget it. My husband called from work and told me to turn the tv on. I saw the second plane hit the other tower and was so stunned! At that point we all pretty much knew it was a terrorist attack. Such a horrible day for so many people.

I was living in Utah - Hill AFB. My husband was in Egypt when 911 hit. I was stunned. I left work - and watched TV for days. Their base in egypt lost all communications due to the Pentagon satelite being hit. It was horrible - we didn't hear from them for weeks. All that we were told were that our hubbies were accounted for. It was horrible.

Living on base during Delta Lockdown wasn't fun. It took hours to get on base due to all the car inspections and such. Thankfully my family was safe.

I still morn for those lost.

I wish I wasn't dealing with Hurricane Ike - I feel I need a day to focus and remember.

Thanks for the post and thanks for sharing.

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      Einarmige Banditen
