Well today I am 9 days post op...everything seems to be going ok so far. I am felt wonderful and have not had any nausea. The only thing I am having problems with is the protein supplements. I can't tolerate the taste of the protein shakes.....I don't mind the carnation instant breakfast drinks, but that is about all. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am eagerly awaiting my first dr's visit next monday on the 19th. I think I have already lost some weight and can't wait to see how much. My starting weight was 272...so we will see!!! I am glad to have found this website...Good luck to all my new friends!

Hi,

I was reading your post and just wanted to tell you that the protein powder that I drink is call Unjury. It was recommended to me by my lapband surgeon. They have several flavors and they even have an unflavored one that you can put in jello or pudding. I have one of these drinks every morning. I put it in the blender with peaches or strawberries and 1 cup of 1% milk. It is very tasty and provides 20 grams of protein per serving. I drink that in place of breakfast. The website is www.unjury.com. I hope this helps you. I know it helped me.
