Stall

So I am almost 4 weeks post op and for the past week and 1/2 I have been stalled at 256. I don't understand why I am stalled this early. Granted I know I'm not getting in enough fluids or protein but still shouldn't I still be losing? It's depressing to me I have lost 19 pounds since surgery and 13 preop, but I still feel I should be loosing. Any advice?

Sorry to hear about the stall. The good things is that i have not met a person in real life or on this forum that has not had a stall. The body is weird like that. Increase your protein intake and that might do the trick. when i was early post op i opted to stay on the liquid diet for 2 extra weeks which helped me break a stall. Water intake is crucial also. make sure your getting enough water. if you get dehydrated than you will probably get constipated which will slow your entire body down. Good luck and say positive !

Go to the search bar and input "three week stall"... if you are at four, consider yourself lucky. The "three week stall" is one of the most common ones almost all sleevers experience. Hang in there and do what you are supposed to and it will subside. More stalls to come eventually, but be patient!

ive read on here numerous times (and you tube videos) that the dreaded stall always starts around the 3rd-4th week :) keep your head up!

Hi, I am 8 months out and so far have experienced all the stalls my Dr had predicted. Three week followed by a three and Dix month stall. You'll see that things will move quickly during these stalls . She also predicts. 9 month stall too ( can't wait) as I am a slow loser to start with. Keep doing your job of getting fluids and protein and you will see success! Good luck!

I was lucky enough to bypass the 3 week stall, BUT the 4 week stall got me! That silly scale will start moving again very soon. Hang in there and keep doing what you're doing!!!

I am 2 months post surgery. After surgery I had lost 25 pounds from the per op fasting and the 2 weeks after surgery, then nothing for a month. Finally I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks, then I stopped again. I am now 3 week no weight loss. Im hoping at 1 month again I will lose.

I'm 3 weeks 4 days post op. I lost 11.5 lbs the 1st week, I dropped another 10.5 over the next week and a half and now the scale hasn't moved since! I am so frustrated.
