Are you drinking your fluids, including your protein drink? As far as incisions, my largest one is still sore. The others I have no sensitivity to it. You can put some antibacterial ointment on it. If you have great concern, you should see a doctor. Don't fret over this....be proactive. Make some calls so you feel comfortable and confident. I was not overly tired post surgery....and my energy level increases as days go. I did feel light headed in the beginning and I was told to increase fluids, especially broth and protein drink. Yes, all is normal except the stitch part. I would make sure it's not infected. Call your doctor if you are unsure. the tiredness will last for about a week or so. Your body has to get used to not having much food. Also, you have just been through a huge TRAUMA with the surgery. The emotions will be up and down for a few months. The reason is that our hormones are stored in our fat cells...as they shrink, the body gets shocked with all these extra hormones. You can feel the changes coming, but if you are anything like me, you just don't care. LOL I am still not sure how my husband didn't leave me during that time. ANGER!!! Yes, i am 9days post op i threw and broke things like a kid. shame of myself later when i was able to cool off. I am having server pain on the right side of my stomach about 2inches from my breat. Not at the incision of the drain port way above it. no redness, just server pain. cant stand or walk. if I move its really bad yall. is anyone else in this boat
