Soon to be me

So tomorrow will be 7 weeks post-op for me, and tonight is my first night back to work. I am in SUCH a funk. Im pretty wigged out by the fact that EVERY ONE will be staring at me..trying to see if they notice a difference. I get it, I do. I did the same the thing to co-workers. Its only natural. It dosen't make it any easier to deal with though. I know alot of us big people are so use to being out of the lime light, that being the subject of anyone's attention, (let alone a large amount of people) is completely uncomfortable. i have been getting ready for work since 3pm. Im do in at 6:45 :n \ I think part of my problem, is that im stalled right now too. So, it makes it a little harder to be all excited when inside your doing the whole.."OMG!! The loss has stopped! What am I doing wrong???" thing. Of course that little voice in my head is being dumb..and should know better. It's still an on going issue for me, that I try hard to reslove. i just needed to get this out. Maybe it will help me in my funk..to purge a bit. Ima go shake my ass and give everyone something to look at..lol!

Everyone who sees she will be so envious of you girl! They're going to wish that they were loosing weigh too. Go in with you head high and looking beautiful and energized just like that stupid pink rabbit. LOL. You kick ass and keep rockin that sleeve! You might be in a stall, but that's just your body adjusting in inches now..... you wait, the same day you put on your pants, your notice that they have gotten looser since you put them on and that's an amazing NSV. ;)

My co-workers love to make fun that my clothes (mostly my pants) are ill fitting. I stick to dresses and skirts, but it's cold outside! I miss my ill fitting pants. I hope they encourage you and keep you on track, if not you have all of us!

I know how you feel. Before I had my procedure, I told ONE other nurse at work, and asked her to keep it quiet. Well, she didn't! I had tons of calls and cards from other nurses that I work with, so I know she told everyone. (It was nice that they called and sent cards, but I really wanted to keep the news of my surgery quiet!)

I was only 10 days post op when I went back to work, and everyone kept telling me I didn't look any different! Well, what do you expect in ten days? But they were so suportive as I progressed in my journey. Keep your chin up, and don't worry, everyone will be envious as you drop those pounds and start to look and feel so much better!

Keep posting. Let us know how it goes at work. You are in my thoughts and prayers tonight!

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
    • I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️

      Einarmige Banditen
