Hungery Every 3 Hours!

I am hungry every 3 hours! I need a fill but my appointment isnt for a week. I need to find healthy snacks to hold me over. I am still eating way less than I was before the band, but not as much less as I need to be. Other than that I am very happy with my band. Like quite a few others on here, I am still waiting for it to sink in that I will actually be able to lose the weight I need to and keep it off. When the weight loss slows down, I start to panic a little bit.

Dont worry to much i think we all go through the same things. There are someday where i think man i am just hungry but then have to ask myself is it truly hunger or is it just what i have been used to for all these years of maybe im bored and food is always there. Try a little snack like a protein bar or drinking something my doctor told me sometimes its not that we are hungry but really thirsty and our body's get confused. And loosing the weight is the best part i never thought i could do it but i have. Good luck and i wish you the very best!

I agree with newlife...dont sweat it until you really get to green zone! On the other hand I think its very important to eat every time you are truly hungry. And to try to not eat when it is head hunger. Protein keeps you full the longest..I eat a lot of nuts, beans, cheese.

My tummy growls every three hours so I know it isnt head hunger. I do have to deal with head hunger more on the weekends that during the week.

while I was losing my weight, I ate every two hours and yes it was the tummy growling hunger. I just picked healthy snacks and it worked well for me. Everyone has to do what is best for there body in this journey. As for the green zone, I am finally there! I lost all my wight before I hit it but thats ok, it is easier to keep the weight off this way! Good luck

Make your snacks protein between meals, this may help carry you over. Agree with newlife. Make sure you are drinking your water and if you want some taste flavor it with some Crystle Light. Good Luck.

It's normal to be hungry after 3 hours. Try eating healthy snacks

in between time.

I eat something every 2 hours and that really helps.. I start when I get up and have tea, then brk at 10 ( just so I can go to 6 ). then at 12 I have a protein shake, then at 2 lunch, then protein shake at 4 , then dinner at 6. I've been told to add a little more calories to my diet, ( yes!! add calories to my diet about 100 more ) so I was thinking of a snack at around 8pm... Maybe if you did something like that the hungry wouldn't be so bad or would go away.. I do find sitting down watching Tv doesn't help with all the food ads, so now I record all shows and fast forward through the ads.. I drink drink drink the rest of the time...
