Endoscopy Down!

Just had my endoscopy done and feel like i'm on the ball. I had one before so I knew what to expect. What was a first for me was when the Gastro surgeon stated I had Polyps in my stomach. I was nervous at first just because I had something that was not normal to ME! He explained to me that they were not cancer forming and that he removed them. I was happy to hear that, but now I am waiting for a two week follow up appointment on how to keep the polyps down or atleast gone. Eeewwww

The place a mouth opener on you to keep your mouth open which is painless, then put you to sleep. They insert a camera which is like a tube down your throat to see the inside you your stomach to check for ulcers and any abnormalities. The person doing the procedure will show you the camera before putting you to sleep. do't put anything in your mouth after midnight. try not to eat after 11pm, so if you have it on a saturday don't eat after 11pm friday night. Good luck on your journey.
