Hello, i had my lapband surgery on 1/28/12 go for my first fill on 3/13/12. I have lost almost 28 lbs since one week before surgery. I must say I am still hungry. I try not to overeat and have not gotten sick from eating too much or eating without chewing 25 to 30 times lol. i was wondering if when one gets filled the hunger subsides? i realize that self control is still needed even with the lapband. I come here to read everyones experiences and have to say it has helped me alot. Any comments or suggestions are truly welcomed. thank you

Immediately after surgery prior to your first fill it is not uncommon to be able to eat most things. After your first fill you should notice a big difference in what you can and can't eat and especially if you do not chew. It is great that you have been losing a lot of people do not lose until after their first fill. Just remember to follow the rules and learn to chew and take small portions. It takes our mind and eyes a while to catch up with the fact that we really can only eat small portions. Still today if I allow myself to get hungry and tend to overfill my plate and than throw it way. Good luck to you.

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
