Update... No Change On The Scales... :(

If you read my "oh, December" entry YOu will notice that I am still 22 pounds down...... I gained 3 then lost three.. Woot?!?!?! GAH!!!

UPDATE:::

I was banded Nov 30th, 2011 @ 226. I lost 10 pounds two weeks pre-op, 10 pounds 2 weeks post-op. Now since Dec 20th I have only lost 3 pounds to bring me to 203...

6X a week I run 3-5km

1X a week I play volleyball

2X a week I play soccer

I am eating between 1300-1500 GOOD calories. No snacking, no junk, whole foods ie: eggs, chicken, fish, veggies, high fibres... etc...

I am losing inches but the weight is not coming off at all. Should I just chalk this up to inches lost and the # will go down later? Am I not eating enough to sustain my work outs? Am I eating too much (I am hungry lots!!)

I have only had 1 fill to bring me to 4cc (had 2.5cc at time of surgery).. IS this what they call the Bandster hell???

Who has been here?? Who can help a girl out???

I AM THERE NOW! i was banded nov. 30th also. i started @ 257 lost 10 preop and 10 in the two weeks after surgery and like 2-3 lbs since then. i haven't been working out like you have, but my scale isn't really moving either. I always feel hungry and don't stay full long....i can't say i've been perfect with the snacking like you, but i'm eating so much less i still thought i wouold lose more than this. then again i only have 1cc in a 14 cc band. i guess i just need some more fills

I was banded in Sept 2011.....scale didn't move (other than pre-liquid diet 14lbs) I had a fill in Oct, Nov, Dec, and nothing..just inches. I started a pretty good pattern of working out Oct.1 5-7 days a week of weights on some days and cardio on others. I am doing really good now with the excerise..I do P90x and insanity... very hard stuff.

I too have lost inches, gained back 5 bls of that 14 from oct - Dec and FINALLY ... after my 4th fill last week, I have lost 5lbs.......

I really hope this is the start of a good pattern of weight loss...

Good luck to you guys....... and to me! :)

You are all doing great with the exercise -- I certainly didn't do as much -- but what I found is that I had to keep calorie intake to more like 900-1,000 a day to really see the weight come off. For me that wasn't too difficult as with the band I can only eat a small handful of food -- trying to stick with protein based meals - tuna, chicken, salmon, etc. I am a year out from being banded December 2010 and have reached my goal -- down a total of 90 pounds. Believe me, although sometimes it feels like it's slow, as long as there is steady loss you will get there! Good luck to all of you! If I can do this at age 55, you youngsters certainly can! :)
