Today I woke up with a scratchy throat and a slight cough. Blah! This will make the fifth time I have been sick since my flu shot in October! I was afraid this would happen. Although my pre-op is two weeks away,it takes about that amount of time for me to get back to bring 100%. So I am praying that it's nothing. :(

oh man, that's what happened to me in December. I did catch that nasty virus going around but with lots of vitamin C and rest and antibiotics, I'm ready for my lapband Tuesday. I'll keep my finers crossed for you!

I feel for you. I hope everything works out right so your surgery does not get posponed.

You know, I used to get sick all the time a couple of years ago, and when I spoke to my pcp, he suggested I take a probiotic...let me tell you, it has worked wonders. I take Culturelle (sp) every morning. I swear that has kept me healthy.
