So They're Not Just Going To Cut Off All Of Your Fat?

I've been "Out of the Fat Closet" for quite sometime. Most people that know me tell me that sometimes I should learn to use the filter in my head that God gave me before I speak. I'm working on it among numerous other things. So it's not been a big secret that I'm having this surgery. For me I think that it is a neccessary tool to keep myself accountable. The other night at dinner, my twenty year old son said, "So when you come home from surgery are you going to be as skinny as her", pointing to a stunning beautiful slender blonde waitress. Puzzled, I looked at him and laughed aloud and said "what do you mean?". He said, "well aren't they just going to go in and cut off all your fat and then sow you back up?". Note to self Maggie: Better job needed on educating people what my surgery will be. I've never laughed so hard!!! More at the fact that he EVER thought I would be a size zero!

Have a VERY safe and Happy New Year!

Hey , it is an education issue. My 14 year old daughter asked me the night before surgery if I would loose all the weight before I lett the hospital. well, since I was only there like 6 hours, noooooo..lol.. enjoy the laughs.. later on in the journey we may cry.. The 0 is not a size we are uncapble of either so down set your standards to low...just cause it may take awhile.. just saying..

Nobody knows I got the surgery.....well my parents do because they took me to surgery, I told my husband to go to work it was a "female" thing and that I would be back at home later the same day so that there was no need to take off work...Oh and I told two co-workers just in case something happened at work somebody would know what may be wrong......but thats it! 4 people....and that was a month ago and people are starting to notice and my clothes are getting big and baggy.....So happy I was a size 14-16 at the time of surgery and now 16's are TOO BIG 14's are getting loose I just want to be a good 12 and loose 1 cup size..so that means I want to be a 36 C and not a 40 D
